Our mission is to provide service to others, promote integrity, and advance world understanding, goodwill, and peace through our fellowship of business, professional, and community leaders.

About the Club
If you are a professional, business person or someone who is committed to giving back to the Staten Island community, you are invited to be our guest at our weekly lunch meetings. Come visit and see what our Rotary Club is all about and if you are interested, we will have you meet with our membership committee.
When you become a South Shore Rotarian, you will be involved in many worthwhile community projects and also enjoy the fellowship of the South Shore Rotarians.

When the business and professional men and women of the South Shore Rotary come together they become a family who care about each other and those in our community who need a helping hand. South Shore Rotarians enjoy a special bond of fellowship and are proud of their longstanding record of contributing millions of dollars over the years to help those in need.
Charity
From literacy and peace to water and health South Shore Rotary members give of themselves to make our world a better place. The South Shore Rotary members voluntarily give of themselves to help to those in need, as a humanitarian act. They join other Rotary clubs worldwide who have for more than 110 years used their passion, energy, and resources to make positive changes in our world.
History
Chartered on January 22, 1955 with 23 members, this club has demonstrated its long term commitment to its community while embracing the motto, Service Above Self. The South Shore Rotary now enjoys a robust membership & stellar reputation for their collective commitment to answering their community’s call for help, & making a difference by supporting numerous charities & other causes.
