The South Shore Rotary Club of Staten Island in one of the longest running Rotary Clubs on Staten Island, chartered on January 22, 1955. Our mission is to provide service to others, promote integrity, and advance world understanding, goodwill, and peace through our fellowship of business, professional, and community leaders.

The South Shore Rotary members voluntarily give of themselves to help to those in need, as a humanitarian act. They join other Rotary clubs worldwide who have for more than 110 years used their passion, energy, and resources to make positive changes in our world.


Chartered on January 22, 1955 with 23 members, this club has demonstrated its long term commitment to its community while embracing the motto, Service Above Self. The South Shore Rotary now enjoys a robust membership & stellar reputation for their collective commitment to answering their community’s call for help, & making a difference by supporting numerous charities & other causes.
