On June 1 2024, the South Shore Rotary Club of Staten Island inducted its new slate of officers and Board of Directors. Also, the annual Paul Harris Fellow was presented.
Inducted were: Rosemarie Sienicki, President; Avery Marder, President Elect; Joseph Torres, Vice President; Alexandria Vale, Secretary; Anthony Verrilli, Treasurer; Jim Cohen, Sergeant at Arms; Anthony Cerverizzo, IPP; and Lynne Persing, COO
The new directors are: Mona Ghanem (three years); John Vincent Scalia (three years); John Vernazza (two years); Joseph Chevere (two years); April Cass (one year); and Jim O’Keefe (one year).
Past President Chris Arrigali was presented with the Paul Harris Fellow.
Sienicki was inducted by District Governor J. Loren Russell.
Vale was presented with the Rookie of the Year Award while Bob DiGennaro received the Rotarian of the Year award.
Entertainment was provided by Staten Island’s Vito Picone and the Elegants.
