The South Shore Rotary Club of Staten Island’s Annual Service Above Self Awards & Scholarship Awards Gala is scheduled for May 8 from 7-11 p.m. at the Old Bermuda Inn.
The Service Above Self honorees are Dr. Jonathan Blau, Catherine DeGaetano, and Linda, Keith, and Amanda Manfredi. These five individuals exemplify putting others before themselves and strengthening the Staten Island community.
The Club’s scholarship winners — who have demonstrated generosity and a commitment to serving the community — will also be honored.
The event will feature dinner, dancing, live entertainment, baskets, 50/50, and live music by the fabulous “Fireflies” and “DJ Rhett.”
Individual tickets cost $100 per person, while a table of 10 costs $900. Journal ads ranging from $150 to $600 are available, while the Event Sponsor ($3,500), Raffle Sponsor ($2,500), and Entertainment Sponsor ($1,200) are available. Ads and sponsorships must be completed by April 17.
