This week, our guest speaker was our own President-Elect Alexandria Vale, who shared her journey with a rare disease that led her to become a published author.
Alexandria lives with Mast Cell Activation Syndrome, a rare disease that causes life-threatening allergic reactions. After feeling like there weren’t enough resources for those suffering from the disease, she wrote the book Mast Cell Activation Syndrome Cannot Break Me: My Journey of Strength, Determination and Unshakable Determination.
