The South Shore Rotary Club of Staten Island welcomed Lisa Esposito and Debbie Sueich from Off The Streets Staten Island to our weekly meeting.
The organization is the local Staten Island chapter of Off The Streets, a nationwide charitable organization that provides hope and dignity to those experiencing homelessness by helping them transition to permanent housing. Off The Streets Staten Island partners with local social service agencies that identify people experiencing homelessness but have the means to pay ongoing rent. Off The Streets Staten Island assists with a security deposit and basic furnishings. They offer essential items such as furniture, household goods, and small appliances at no cost, fostering a sense of dignity and support.
