Welcome Suzuho Masago!
The South Shore Rotary is sponsoring a student from Japan, Suzuho, along with a Rotary Club from Matsudo, Japan. Suzuho will be with the South Shore Rotary for the next year.
Submitted by the Rotary Club of South Shore and the Rotary Club of Matsudo, the global grant application for funding provides a scholarship to Suzuho to receive an MBA (focusing on social enterprise and entrepreneurship) from Columbia Business School in Manhattan. The Rotary Foundation and the Public Interest Incorporated Foundation Rotary Foundation Japan approved the application. The award is in the amount of US$ 40,000
Suzuho was in attendance at our weekly meeting on August 8 and brought presents for all of our members. Suzuho and our President, Rosemarie Sienicki, also exchanged Rotary flags.
